So I ended up coming home last night (Thursday) because my Friday class was cancelled. So I wake up this morning, at my house, walk upstairs, and see smoke, or what I thought was steam, coming from my mom's driver side window of her van. Now there's a big difference between steam and smoke... and the more I looked at it, the more I realized it definitely wasn't just steam. "Mom... what is that?" As she stood up, I took a closer look in the window. Yeah. Her van was ON FIRE. Soooooo... we run outside, think about it, and then realize it's probably not a good idea to be standing anywhere near a van that's on fire. So we run BACK inside, saving the outside cats of course, and call 911. By this time, it's a-blazin'... it's really burnin.... So long story short, the firemen come within 5 minutes, and put that baby out. So the smoke clears, and man is that thing done for. Interesting morning.
Wow that is insane. That is crazy that you woke up to a burning car. That must of been a sight. Do they have any idea of why it was on fire?
ReplyDeleteWow that is really really crazy, I' glad no one was hurt. Do you know what happened, because that's a scary thing. Well, I had some what a same thing happen to me. 3 years ago I woke up in the middle if the night to hear my neighbor yelling "Help!". I looked out my window to see my neighbors house completely on fire. The family was outside shouting the name of there dog and cat, crying. By the time the fire men arrived half of the house was gone and the other half was still aflame it was a scary surreal day. That I will never forget for the rest of my life. Thank goodness you are safe.
